TETRA Handset Solution

The TETRA Handset is a complete solution comprising all elements of a handset, including hardware, software (protocol stack and MMI) and full casing/mechanics, along with supporting tools such as production test systems, field programmers, and a range of innovative customisation tools.

The SRT PMR Technology core technology solution is fully compliant with the ETSI TETRA specifications and has undergone tens of thousands of hours of field operation on multiple networks in multiple countries. Full interoperability and compatibility with all recognised infrastructures and high production yields at manufacturing phase are guaranteed.

Our solution supports a full range of TETRA features, including packet data, supplementary services, E2E and air interface encryption. The hardware provides for 1W – 3W power levels, 400MHz & 800MHz operation and has a range of carefully specified PEIs to enable maximum customisation.
